Jobs in London are expected to grow each year by an average rate of 0.78% or 49,000 jobs a year, the annual report from GLA Economics. This means that by 2041 there should be nearly 6.9m more jobs.

In London, the number of jobs in:
• some service sectors, including the professions, real estate, scientific and technical, admin and support, accommodation and food services, information and communications, education and health sectors will increase
• manufacturing and some other sectors, including wholesale, transportation and storage, and public administration are projected to decrease.
