Islington Advocacy Services - Rethink Advocacy
The Islington Advocacy Service is provided by Rethink.
Rethink offers a range of high-quality statutory and non-statutory advocacy services across Camden and Islington to improve well-being and ensure people have the information and support necessary to help them to participate fully in decisions affecting them.
This includes:
- Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA)
- Independent Advocacy under the Care Act (ICSA)
- Deprivation of Liberty Standards (DOLS), including Paid Representatives within Islington and Camden
- Provision of advocacy under the Liberty of Protection and Safeguards (LPS) when formally introduced to replace DOLS
- Independent Health Complaints Advocacy (IHCAS)
- Non-Statutory Community Advocacy including health advocacy
