Accept Consortium

The Accept Consortium provides free psychotherapy and counselling services to clients from Black Asian Minority Ethnic and Refugee backgrounds (BAMER) including a counselling and psychotherapy service for those who have experienced childhood sexual abuse (CSA) and/or domestic violence (DV). 

Services are free to Islington residents and are provided in a number of languages including: Arabic, French, Farsi, Portugese, Spanish, Turkish, Amharic, Azerbaijani, Russian, Bengali, Italian, German, Tigrinya, Tigre, TW, Ga, as well as English.

Accept Consortium provides services via ICAP, Maya Centre, Nafsiyat and the Women's Therapy Centre.

Who is this service for?
Islington residents over 18 years of age who are from Black Asian Minority Ethnic and Refugee groups and for people who have experienced childhood sexual abuse and/or domestic violence.

How to refer or apply

Clients can self-refer or practitioners can refer on their behalf. All referrals must come via the referral form available on the Accept Consortium website.
