ESOL with Islington Adult and Community Learning, ACL

Are you, or someone you know interested in attending an ESOL course. ESOL stands for English for Speakers of Other Languages.

An ESOL course is for you if English is not your first language and you want to improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Our ESOL courses focus on language skills but also include employability and citizenship skills.

Before anyone can attend our ESOL class you must attend an initial assessment session, this is so we can check your level and add you onto the right course at your current level. We will also try and place you within a course that is close to your home but this is not always possible.

Our ESOL courses run from many venues across Islington, but mainly within Children Centres and in some cases we can offer a crèche, but this is very limited.
