The Bronze Group is a multi-agency operational group which aims to prevent and reduce young people’s involvement in gang activity, group offending and violent crime through the sharing of information, and the use of resources to work with individuals and groups. The Bronze Group membership is comprised of professionals whose work is directly involved with young people at risk and includes representation from the Police, Youth Offending Service, Children’s Social Care, HFI, Young People's Division and other partner agencies. The Bronze Group meeting coordinates action plans for young people at a high risk of involvement in youth violence, whether as a perpetrator or victim, up to the age of 24 years.

Professionals can refer young people they consider to be at high risk of involvement in youth violence to the Bronze Group, and if accepted, a multi-agency action plan will be developed and coordinated through the meetings. Information sharing between agencies enables the most appropriate actions to be taken and the most effective use and coordination of existing resources.
