AVP Britain: managing anger and handling conflict

AVP Britain is for anyone who wants to manage anger, handle conflict, and build more positive relationships.

We are a registered national charity, and run friendly, low-cost workshops (courses) which really make a difference to people’s lives. Whether you face conflict at home, in work, or on the streets, every day or once in a while, or simply want to learn how to manage your behaviour better, AVP can help.

Our London workshops take place in Shoreditch, five minutes’ walk from Old Street tube station.

Other notes

AVP workshops are not like school or college. There are no teachers, and no right and wrong. Led by trained facilitators, participants learn from each other, and through their own experiences. We use small group exercises, activities, discussions and role-plays, which draw on real-life situations. Our workshops are friendly and fun, and everyone is made welcome.

In London, our workshops run for two days: Saturdays 10am – 6pm and Sundays 10am – 5pm. There are usually 8-12 participants (minimum 18 years of age), and two or three AVP facilitators. At the end of the workshop, all participants are awarded a certificate of achievement.

Light refreshments are provided; participants normally bring their own lunch, or bring food to share. You don't need to bring anything else.
