My name is Kelly from The Natural Balance and I help my clients to re-set their lives.
I am a 200 Hour Yoga Alliance teacher certified from Upaya Yoga in India. I teach Hatha with the help of props such as blocks & straps to enable perfect alignment in poses and create an inner stillness. I also teach Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga that is a flowing sequence of postures where the movement is tandem with breathing.
I like to make my classes fun, engaging, and not too serious so I usually have music on so that everyone is energised. To me, Yoga should be an enjoyable practice and something that everyone can enjoy.
I enjoy adding my own twist by mixing up Hatha with Vinyasa flow. Or I could add Yoga Nidra and a meditation at the end for extended relaxation. I follow the energy of the class and either make it more challenging or relaxing and restorative depending on how the students feel.
It is essential then, that I am full of life, beaming with a positive attitude, receptive to their needs, adaptable to their fitness level, understanding of injuries and empathetic to their emotional level. I always make sure I listen to any concerns my clients may have and keep an eye on their form and posture. I’m available to teach clients individually on a one-to-one basis or group sessions for friends or colleagues, and I teach all ages and abilities.
