A STEMM careers information evening for parents and carers
The Institute of Physics and the Institute of Physics in Engineering and Medicine are hosting a Science Technology Engineering Maths and Medicine (STEMM) Apprenticeships evening on 11 February 2020, 6 – 7.30pm, Institute of Physics, Kings Cross.
As parents and carers, we invite you to attend this event if you want to better understand:
What is an apprenticeship in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine)? Will it be a good fit for my child? How do you successfully obtain one and what career options will it open up?
Find out the answers to these questions, meet a former apprentice and employers of apprentices at a special information evening for parents and carers about STEMM apprenticeships.
Attending this event will help you understand:
• The value of STEMM apprenticeships for your child
• The qualifications gained through STEMM apprenticeships
• How to access STEMM apprenticeships, including entry requirements
• Career pathways from STEMM apprenticeships
If your child is passionate about STEMM but is uncertain about their options post-secondary school or sixth form, our event will help you
support them in making informed choices.
