I have many years' experience and a wealth of knowledge looking after children from the age of 6 months to 8 years old. I have a NVQ in childcare and have worked with childen in various settings. I worked as a nanny for different families for many years and would organise activities and outings with the children, help with homework, prepare healthy meals and pick them up from school.
I also worked in a playgroup as an assistant and then went to work as a nursery assistant in St Joan of Arc Primary School. Additionally I looked after primary school children who attended after school club.

My childminding setting welcomes children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) and I am committed to working with parents and other professionals to provide good inclusive practice. My Islington Area SENCO provides me with support, advice and training regarding children with SEND. Parents are encouraged to speak to me about the needs of their child in order to assess and plan what is required.
