AbilityNet is the UK's leading ICT accessibility and usability organisation and provides a wide range of services, including the development and implementation of corporate accessibility standards as well as disabled user testing and support for individuals through assessment and training. Our unique position as a Charity provides us with a clear advantage in providing services to corporate and other clients, as well as individuals with all kinds of disability. We have worked with some of the largest and most successful corporations in the world, including BBC, Microsoft, DWP, Hewlett Packard, BT, Cabinet Office, IBM, Channel Four, Barclays and many others. Our work with children, schools and families is extensive -we work closely with Becta on initiatives such as the Home Access Programme and each year we support thousands of disabled children, families, schools and local authorities with ICT access issues. We are working on leading edge projects on the use of mobile technologies, e.g., My Mobile, My Way for the BBC, and, via a partnership with City University, AbilityNet has a unique research capability.
