Let Hope Arise Holiday Project, June 2021

A FREE 3 day holiday project for children aged 7 -11 years old in Islington in June half term 2021, where the children will also be given lunch.

The children will work with professional artists to explore their emotions, thoughts and feelings surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic.  They will look with hope, to imagine the post-pandemic future using the arts.  This will culminate in a high quality performance on the final afternoon to share with the community.

The children will use the disciplines of dance, drama, art, spoken word and music in their exploration of their emotions.

The Artistic leads are: Lucy Miller (West End Star from Legally Blonde, Mamma Mia, also published author); Ciara E. White (Illustrator); Cameron Potts (Actor); Rebecca Drake (Actress); Anna Unwin (Dancer); The performance is being directed by Daniel Cossette (Dancer and Mime artist)

We will also have a special guest visit by award winning rapper and author Guvna B!

This is going to be an event not to miss.  Spaces will fill up quickly.

This project has only been made possible thanks to public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England and the generosity of Hope Church and individual donors.
