The Barnsbury Jobcentre Plus is a part of the Department of Work and Pensions providing a comprehensive work and benefits service. Here you get advice and information on how to get into paid work. People of working age also get the help and support they are entitled to if they cannot work.
A Jobseeker Direct service, which is a quick and easy phone service, keeps you in touch with the latest job vacancies and helps you find the job that is right for you and provides a vacancy filling service to employers.
JCP runs a work experience programme. People interested in finding out more about this, should speak to their JCP adviser.
You might already be getting support from the JCP or a work programme provider. If you are not, you can get that support. Everyone who does not have a job is entitled to support from JCP or a work programme provider.
