Amwell Community Choir
Amwell Community Choir is for people in Islington who love to sing. Meeting since 2018, we're an open-access choir, which learns and performs modern classics in a relaxed and low-stress way, and you'd be free to join us any week to see what it's like. There's no audition, recordings are provided for each part, and if you decide to join, it costs just £25 for a nine-week term.
We currently meet in the kitchen of St Mark's church in Myddelton Square, at 8pm on Thursday evenings. The current term runs from 13th October to 3rd October, and we'll be rehearsing Toto's 'Africa', and a song for Christmas. The conductor is Jeremy Hobson, who has more than 20 years' experience of teaching and leading choirs.
