The Sensory Team provides suppport services to people who are:blind and partially sighted, deaf and hard of hearing, deaf-blind or have a dual sensory loss.
The Team provides specialist assessments relating to sensory impairments which may identify rehabilitation, equipment and/or support needs.
The Team includes a Manager, Social Workers, Care Managers and Rehabilitation Workers (who do assessments and arrange care plans to match a person's needs.
Drop in clinic available at 222 Upper Street, Islington, N1 1XR on Monday afternoons, 12.30pm to 5pm for Visually impaired people and on Thursdays 9.30am to 12.30pm for deaf and hard of hearing people.
Housing Aid /Advice Session, All Sensory Impairment, (Appointments only), 2nd Tuesday of every month, 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Deaf Welfare Rights Advice Service (Sarah Blainey-Jones/ Sally Reynolds), (Drop-in only), Tuesdays, 9.30am to 4.00pm. Time slots can be booked by: Attending reception at 222 Upper Street OR
