Activities and Events for over 50s

From cookery classes, computer sessions or a cuppa and a chat, we’ve lots to offer over 50s. Meet new people, try new things, keep connected and improve the quality of your later life. Hosted by Age UK Islington, all over the borough – many are free.

Our activities take place at the Drover’s Activity Centre, North Road, N7 9EY and at a range of community venues across the borough.

We have groups for avid readers, those who enjoy poking around interesting buildings, people who want to keep active, theatre buffs and history fans. If you’ve got a computer, smart phone or tablet you are struggling to use you can also come along to one of our IT sessions. You can learn something new, follow and existing passion or just meet new people. With lots of activities on offer there really is something for everyone.

If you don’t feel confident to make the first step in finding new activities to get involved with our Activity Partners are there to help. They will help you find the right activity for you and go along with you to help you break the ice.
