Birth Companions (Specialist Antenatal Programme)

Birth Companions is a targeted community-based antenatal course for women with complex social needs delivered by Birth Companions.

Length of Programme: 6 weekly sessions.

From May - December 2019 this programme will be delivered at the Whittington Education Centre, Whittington Hospital on Tuesdays (11-1pm).

Birth Companions is a charity which supports women experiencing severe disadvantage during pregnancy, birth and early parenting. From 2019, they will be delivering a yearlong rolling programme of targeted, trauma-informed antenatal courses for women with complex social needs in Islington.

Women can also self-refer. Please contact the Project Coordinator to discuss how to access the programme.
