Assessment and Treatment Team
A national referral centre for children and families with attachment difficulties and complex trauma, usually relating to experiences of abuse and neglect. Assessment and treatment is also offered for parent child interaction difficulties. We work with looked after and adopted children as well as children who live with their birth families. We can also offer one off and ongoing consultation to local services when required. The team consists of a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists, Clinical Psychologists, Family Therapists and a Consultant Guardian.
