West Library - Author event with Peter Carty

Join us at West Library for a talk by award-winning writer Peter Carty about his debut novel "Art". His novel is a satire about the birth of the Young British Artist scene in Hoxton and Shoreditch during the early 1990s. The Financial Times has put it first in its selection of best new debut fiction.

Peter will talk about how he came to be an author, how he researched and wrote Art, about the contemporary art scene in London, as well as sharing tips and advice for budding authors. There will be one or two interactive writing exercises, along with time for questions from the audience.

Free of charge. You can obtain a ticket on Eventbrite or just turn up on the night.
