Hargrave Park School Nursery
Hargrave Park offers nursery and pre-school care and education for children from 6 months old. Nursery classes in Islington schools offer full or part-time education to 3 and 4 year olds. Hargrave Park also offers free early learning for eligible 2 year olds.
All 3 and 4 year olds can get 15 hours free early education per week during term time. Families who are eligible for 30 hours free childcare, can get an additional 15 hours per week for their 3 and 4 year olds. Families who are not eligible for 30 hours free childcare, can choose to pay for an additional 15 hours per week.
We have 2 points of entry in September and January each year. We have both part time and full time places and can provide a full extended day offer from 8.00am to 6pm. Apply at www.hargravepark.com/nursery-class-application-form
Classes are taught by teachers, with help of classroom assistants. They deliver the foundation stage curriculum, following the basic principle of learning through play.
Please note, even if your child goes to the school's nursery class, do not assume you will get a place in the primary school. You must apply through school admissions www.islington.gov.uk/admissions (020 7527 5515) to get into the primary school.

Please phone the school. Places in the nursery classes are decided on whether the child is at risk or in need; has special educational needs; lives in Islington; lives close to the nursery; is the right age for the space available; has parents who are working or studying full-time. The nursery does not prioritise children because they have been on the waiting list for a long time or because they have a brother or sister at the centre.
