Creative Art Group for autistic children and young people
The creative communication group will run every Thursday during term time (on Zoom until Covid lockdown ends) and will be a fun and safe place for children with social communication difficulties such as autism or ADHD to come together, meet other children and try new creative activities.
Sessions will consist of a different activity each week, including treasure maps, collages, glass painting, poetry, mosaics.
Sessions are run in partnership with Knots Arts, who specialise in delivering creative arts and drama projects to children and young people with social communication difficulties.
Groups are funded by the Derwent London Foundation's Techbelt Community Fund.
