Islington Youth Theatre

Islington Youth Theatre (IYT) creates innovative, exciting theatre with members aged 12 to 19 drawn from all of Islington’s secondary schools.  In the past we have performed large scale theatre pieces in professional venues including the Lilian Baylis Theatre, Urdang Academy and Pleasance Theatre Islington. As well as a large-scale annual production we also run other projects, workshops and activities focussing on specific performance skills.

IYT also runs The Oracle Project for Year 6 and 7 students and Work in Progress for young people aged 16 to 19 who are serious about a future relationship with theatre. IYT is a key part of Islington Community Theatre.
