Homestore is a furniture reuse scheme which provides people on low incomes with good quality, used furniture at very affordable prices. We also sell white goods at cost prices and recycled paint. Furniture which might otherwise have gone to landfill is reused, which helps the environment. We collect furniture donations from households across seven boroughs in north and east London. If you have good quality furniture that you no longer need, please call or email us and we will make an assessment and arrange for a free collection.
Service users can be referred to us by local authorities, housing associations, women's refuges, older people's services, and many other community and voluntary organisations. Individuals or households can also self-refer to Homestore, as long as they can provide proof of low income. Members have one year to buy anything they might need to equip their home, from three-piece suites for £35 to dining tables and chairs for as little as £10.
