Fatiha Nursery

Fatiha Nursery is based on a Muslim ethos and is open to everyone regardless of beliefs or cultural backgrounds. We cater to the individual needs, talents, abilities and interests of each child. We have a passion for excellence and innovation in Islamic Nursery education, and we follow the Early Years Framework covering 7 areas of learning.

Early years development is the most important period of a child’s life thus learning through play in a loving and encouraging environment is of paramount importance. Our children develop self-confidence and an understanding of their needs, who they are and how to become compassionate and responsible members of society in the making.

Inside we provide 3 rooms for children to develop and learn. Our outdoor space is large for children to further their development and explore.

The nursery is within a secure gated property with parking available for parents.

Local Offer

How will you support my child?

Our setting welcomes children with SEND and we are committed to working with parents and other professionals to provide good inclusive practice. Our Islington Area SENCO provides us with support, advice and training regarding children with SEND.

Our SENCO continuously goes on training with Islington council to ensure correct and up to date information is used with children with autism. The SENCO is currently undertaking a course for ‘SENCO in Early years setting’.

All staff have access to trainings via the portal. SENCO cascades any training delivered. Staff have basic knowledge of Makaton.

We have experience of working with several children who have severe and complex needs.

We run small intervention groups like attention autism and have continual meetings with parents whose children have speech and language delay so we can work together and have consistency.

We have links with the social communications team and the Area SENCO Team for support and advice.
