Youth Engagement Team

The Youth Engagement Team, YET, aims to reduce serious youth violence within Islington by identifying individuals involved in violent youth crime either as a victim or perpetrator. The team is made up of police officers based at Holloway Police Station who work with a range of other practitioners to help young people to engage with more positive lifestyles.

The YET can provide advice and referrals, conduct joint home visits, prison visits, patrols, intelligence sharing, safe and secure services. The team is part of the Bronze Group of services.
