Blessed Sacrament Primary School is pleased to welcome all prospective parents to come and visit our small and friendly nursery setting. Your child will have the opportunity to work together in our Early Years Unit with their Reception age peers. This gives them an opportunity to learn and grow at their own pace as well as having access to the Reception curriculum.
At Blessed Sacrament our dedicated, friendly and experienced team provide the highest quality of care and education for children from 3 years old.
The nursery is situated within the school grounds, which helps Nursery children to integrate into school life and provide them with a seamless transition to Reception Class.
We believe that, by working together, every child can thrive and build all of the skills needed to be independent, happy, healthy and confident individuals.
Children will usually start nursery in the September following their 3rd birthday, however, it is possible for eligible children to access a funded Nursery place from the beginning of the term after their 3rd birthday. We accept children from all catchment areas and faith denominations.
All children are entitled to 15 hours free early education each week during term-time. Working families my be eligible for an addiitonal 15 hours (30 hours). Find out more about 30 hours free early education and how to apply.
Please note, if your child goes to the school's nursery class, you will be asked to apply for a place to get into our Primary School (Reception Class). You must apply through school admissions www.islington.gov.uk/admissions (020 7527 5515).
