Cardfields is Islington's residential and educational retreat. Situated in the Essex countryside with beautiful views across the River Chelmer and surrounded by arable farmland, Cardfields is perfectly placed to provide educational and recreational use for schools, community groups and for private hire.

Cardfields provides courses and cross curricular activities that support and enhance the national curriculum, especially KS1 and KS2, for residential or day visits. All formal and informal activities are designed with the needs of the visiting group and promote learning through discovery, investigation and experience.

Cardfields is also ideal for private hire for families and groups both large and small, with comfortable accommodation and plenty to do in the surrounding area.
