Jacksons Lane

Jacksons Lane is a multi-arts venue in Highgate North London. Housed in a striking red-bricked gothic church conversion, the building is home to a 160 capacity theatre, a large scale dance and rehearsal studio a cafe and bar and four other multi-purpose spaces.  The annual Postcards Festival runs each Summer and showcases an exciting range of circus, cabaret and extraordinary performance, including shorts, solo work and new commissions.The building offers a range of spaces to facilitate the diverse disciplines within circus, whilst the height and depth of the award-winning theatre space offers support to such forms as aerial theatre, German Wheel and acrobatics.Jacksons Lane’s artistic programme of performance and participation is far-reaching, inclusive and accessible whilst constantly seeking to develop, grow and break new ground.As well as the theatre we run various classes such as Adult Ballet, Meditation, Excercise Classes, Pilates, Self Defense, Zumba, Gentle Exercise for the over 60, Flamenco and Jazz.                                                                                                                            

Venue Access

Jacksons Lane’s theatre is fully accessible and recognised as part of the Shape Access scheme. All our spaces downstairs are also fully accessible. There is flat-level access to one row of seats in the auditorium, where we also have spaces for wheelchair users. We also have accessible toilet facilities, a hearing induction loop system and guide dogs are welcome.
