Crumbles Castle is has an actual castle on site! Children play above ground in a network of exciting treetop structures. We encourage child-led play experiences outdoors in all types of weather and throughout the seasons.
Islington’s adventure playgrounds are open for outdoor play sessions with social distancing and other Covid secure measures in place to ensure the safety of children, families and staff.
Islington’s adventure playgrounds are free to children aged six and up who live or go to school in Islington and are safe, welcoming and fun. They give children the opportunity to safely socialise with others outside their household, burn off energy and boost their physical and emotional health.

Islington Play Association's adventure playgrounds are unique spaces dedicated to children and young people's play. Skilled playworkers are always there to make it really fun!
All children must be registered. Register your child.
We are running all services in line with Covid 19 guidance. For further information, please see: Islington Play Association
Free healthy lunches will be provided for all children in Partnership with Islington Council’s Lunch Bunch and The Mayor’s Fund for London’s Social Kitchen. Presently our playgrounds are running a purely outdoor service whilst we are still in the pandemic.
Adventure Playgrounds are spaces where children are free to play how they want to. This puts children's choice at the centre of our work. Children decide how and when they play, with who and where. We are a play service and not a childcare service.
We need parents and carers to be available on the phone if their children need or want to go home. There may be an unusual situation in which we ask you to collect your child. We will ask parents/carers or a nominated person to do this. If this is impossible for you, then you may need to book a childcare service. Childcare services can be found on the Family Directory, or contact Islington Family Information Service.
