Information for children and young people who are electively home educated

We have put together the following information to support you in your home schooling (also called elective home education).

Not all children in England go to school and that is because parents have a choice about whether to send their children to school or to provide education for them at home.

We can support you and your parents in your home schooling by giving advice or telling you where to go for advice.
