Come to a short information session and meet the Childminding and Childcare Information Officer who will explain what is involved in becoming a childminder. You can ask questions and find out about support available to you. The Family Information Service, FIS, regularly runs sessions and the next session is on
You can also come to the FIS Information drop in at the Customer Centre at 222 Upper Street on Thursday mornings, 9am to 12.30pm.
Attend the 3 hour pre-registration briefing to receive essential information about the Ofsted registration process, Islington training and support for prospective childminders. This is a free session held at Laycock Centre every term, the next briefing is on

This is a 3 day introductory training course available 3 times per year, cost £216. The course supports prospective childminders in Islington preparing for their Ofsted registration. The next course is on
