Information sessions
If you are interested in standing as a candidate for election, you must attend one of these sessions

All applications to be considered as a candidate for election need to be submitted by this date

Find out if you have been selected
Prospective candidates are informed whether they have been accepted to stand for election

Monday 21 October, Lift Youth Hub, 9.30am-12.30pm

Campaign development and training session
This will be an essential session for all candidates

During this time, the candidates will try to get young people to support them

Monday 3 February 2020

Election day
11-17 year olds in Islington will vote for their preferred candidate

Tuesday 4 February 2020, Islington Assembly Hall

Election results event
The 12 young people with the most votes will become the next Islington Youth Council

Youth council induction and training sessions
These sessions will help the new youth councillors to develop the skills and knowledge that they will need to carry out their role effectively
