Information for new or existing Personal Assistants

If you would like a career in the care sector, being a Personal Assistant could be for you. A Personal Assistant is employed by older or disabled people who need some support to help them live independently in their homes.

Being a Personal Assistant is a great career as it is flexible, friendly and always new and interesting. It’s a good opportunity for anyone who has previously been a carer for a friend or family member, worked or volunteered in health or social care or are looking to work with disabled or elderly people.

We are in the process of developing a training and support offer for existing Personal Assistants, and anyone interested in becoming one. On this page you will shortly find all the key information relating to:
