The National Minimum Wage rates are reviewed every April

National Minimum Wage of £4.55 if you are aged 16 or 17 and in a job or £4.15 if you are an apprentice come in on 1 April. 

Does your employer give you a payslip? Check out the information you should receive.

Most workers have to pay Income Tax and National Insurance. How much you pay depends on how much you earn. Your employer will take this out of your pay. These deductions will be shown on your payslip.
