People of working age also get the help and support they are entitled to if they cannot work. It focuses on job finding services and skills training and offers a number of services and programmes that help new jobseekers, unemployed people, people with disabilities and others of working age who may need that extra help in finding work. It also offers a vacancy filling service to employers.
A Jobseeker Direct service, which is a quick and easy phone service, keeps you in touch with the latest job vacancies and helps you find the job that is right for you and provides a vacancy filling service to employers.
JCP runs a work experience programme. People interested in finding out more about this, should speak to their JCP adviser.
You might already be getting support from the JCP or a work programme provider. If you are not, you can get that support. Everyone who does not have a job is entitled to support from JCP or a work programme provider.
